On the morning of November 6, at Muine Bay Resort (Mui Ne ward, Phan Thiet city), the Vietnam International Arbitration Center, the Tourism Association and the Union of Scientific and Technical Associations of Binh Thuan province organized a Tourism Conference. In his welcome speech, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh stated: "In recent years, sustainable development has become a central goal in the policies of many countries around the world, including Vietnam. In Binh Thuan, tourism activities are also being rapidly promoted in green transformation, creating a driving force to accelerate the comprehensive economic, cultural and social development of the province. Sustainable development needs to ensure balance between three main pillars: economy, society and environment; Encourage socio-economic development closely associated with environmental protection and improvement, ensure harmony between the artificial environment and the natural environment, and preserve biodiversity.

Based on that orientation, in recent times, the government, businesses and people of Binh Thuan have been promoting the "greening" policy, focusing on the tourism industry, encouraging and creating conditions to help Enterprises apply new technology, use alternative energy, and digital transformation to reduce negative impacts on the environment and quickly adapt to global trends. Binh Thuan province has approved the Project to diversify the types and products of provincial tourism to 2025, with a vision to 2030, with the view of rational and effective use of tourism resources in a sustainable manner. Preserve and develop tourism and environmental resources, preserve and promote national and regional cultural identities.

Exploiting tourism associated with sustainable development, aiming at green tourism development is always identified in the tourism development strategy of Binh Thuan province.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial Tourism Association Nguyen Van Khoa highlighted the panorama of the Binh Thuan tourism business community that always associates business activities with environmental protection, sustainable development with development. green development.
