Chefs from Binh Thuan and Dong Nai interact and guide how to prepare dishes

On the afternoon of October 6, at Kenh Bau Restaurant (Xuan An Ward, Phan Thiet City), Binh Thuan Province Professional Chefs Association coordinated with Dong Nai Province Chefs Association to organize a networking, exchange and sharing program. Share experience in preparing delicious dishes for members of the Association, teachers and students majoring in the kitchen of Binh Thuan Vocational College.

At the meeting, General Chef of Tra1n Bien Restaurant (Dong Nai) Nguyen Van Thinh, Chairman of Dong Nai Chefs Association, introduced how to marinate ingredients, quantify spices, how to prepare, and share secrets and experiences. Experience typical Dong Nai dishes such as fried sticky rice, grilled chicken and roasted suckling pig. In particular, the technique of frying puffed sticky rice is "demonstrated" by Chef Danh Phan Thanh Tai, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial Chefs Association, Investor of Phuong Nam Cuisine Restaurant chain - Dong Nai, every move. Techniques, tips on adjusting the fire, timing... so that the fried sticky rice is golden brown, evenly rounded, and beautiful.

The program was organized to both respond to the 29th anniversary of Binh Thuan Tourism Day on October 24, and connect the food-loving communities of the two provinces, thereby promoting the promotion of Binh Thuan tourism brand. According to Mr. Thai Ngoc Hieu, Head of the Binh Thuan Chefs Association, said: The exchange session was conducted by professional culinary artists who have won high prizes at competitions to share experiences, as well as ideas. Valuable knowledge in the process of career accumulation, helping chefs have the opportunity to learn from each other to be able to create more delicious dishes for Binh Thuan cuisine for tourism.

Student Phan Hoai An - Vocational College, said: "I have experienced kitchen practice at school, but this is the first time I have listened to instructions, shared tips, and observed practice directly from Professional chefs in kitchen skills such as  measuring ingredients, preparing ingredients, marinating spices, and preparing dishes. These are really useful lessons in the vocational training process as well as in developing your future culinary career." It is known that the Professional Chefs Association of Binh Thuan province and the Chefs Association of Dong Nai province will continue to coordinate to organize demonstrations of fried sticky rice at the "Binh Thuan Delicious Dishes" Contest in 2024, scheduled to take place on the afternoon of December 26. /10 at NovaWorld Phan Thiet.
