This is a Provincial Scientific Conference organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities of Ho Chi Minh City to implement the project "Cultural and Family Standards". Binh Thuan's family and people are associated with the cultural value system, family and people of Vietnam in the new era", based on Action Program No. 06-CTr/TU dated January 22, 2021 of the Party Executive Committee province (session IV) on implementing the Resolution of the 14th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025, determining the value systems of culture, family, and people of Binh Thuan.

During one day, nearly 100 delegates were socio-cultural experts from Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities and representatives of departments, branches, localities, and key organizations. socio-political, researchers and cultural managers in the province have focused on discussing, analyzing and making comments to clarify cultural values, families and people of Binh Thuan, building Building a cultural family in the modern era. In addition to the 14 presentations (out of a total of 33 participating presentations) presented directly at the conference, experts and lecturers from Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities also gave 6 speeches. Critique, comment, and clarify the project's content, purpose, feasibility, and "standards" typical of culture, family, and people of Binh Thuan. Based on the synthesis of presentations and opinions expressed at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh highly appreciated the valuable scientific and objective contributions of the delegates.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested relevant agencies and units to continue to research, learn and discover through musical works, poetry, cultural activities, mass arts, and festivals. folklore, religion, village conventions, community conventions and practical experiences of people's lives in the province to supplement and complete the draft project, carefully prepare the content to successfully organize the Scientific Conference. study at the regional level in Ho Chi Minh City in July 2024.
